Korea Sorted publishes practical, dated guides for people preparing to visit South Korea. Our guides focus on the tasks that are easier to handle before you fly, including getting a phone, setting up maps, choosing internet access such as a SIM or eSIM, and preparing bookings.
We write for English-speaking travelers. Our goal is to explain useful options, important limits, and steps that may save you time when planning your trip.
How we research
We start with official sources, such as company help pages, press releases, app store listings, and government pages. We check those sources and write down the date we checked them.
Each guide has a “last checked” date. This date tells you when we last reviewed the information against the sources we used. It does not mean that every service or feature will work in every situation. Services can change after we publish a guide, and some details may depend on your phone, location, account, or travel dates.
We also say clearly when we have not tested something ourselves. We do not want research from a website or app to sound like personal experience.
Reviews and updates
A person on our team reviews every guide before it is published. When we find an error or learn that something has changed, we update the guide and change its “last checked” date.

Korea Sorted is a small independent team based in South Korea. Korea Sorted is not affiliated with NAVER, Kakao, the Korea Tourism Organization, or any mobile carrier or eSIM seller. Product and company names belong to their owners.
